Phone Tip

Turn off notifications to appear on your home screen, that way when you wake up you have as much time as you need to both quietly and calmly begin your day.

Technology has given us the illusion that the rules of this world have somehow changed. So try to work on trusting that if someone is meant to reach you, they will.

Exercise Tip

Exercise and well-being can occur at any point, it all adds up. You don’t need to get to a class or get dressed and go to the gym if you can’t, that is completely ok for today. Just keep moving, even for a few rounds of leg lifts that help with circulation.

Leg lifts are something I learnt in Qi-Gong, I call them leg lifts but they are basically standing up straight and then standing up on your tip toes several times. I usually do 10-15 times at the start of my morning routine, when the day plays out as nicely as planned and I have my morning routine. This moves your calf muscles that gets circulation going and strengthens your muscles to make you walk stronger. They are also great to do at your desk in the office.

Better Sleep Tip

If you can drink milk and you like bananas. Try a banana milk smoothie before bed, look it up it has natural elements that improve sleep quality. I sometimes add a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Thought

We can get to know things through conversation, we sometimes get to know things through listening, my recent favorite is getting to know things by doing and getting to know things in silence.
